Achievers Business Club Anniversary Celebration - IDO4 Concert

October 24, Quezon City Sports Club:

Despite the technical difficulties – joy, inner strength, encouragement and faith radiated from the stage to the last seat.  The biggest hall within Quezon City Sports Club was teeming with hopeful brethren and guests as they join the IDO4 team in bringing forth infinitely devoted praise and worship to the one and only God who is worthy of all honor and majesty and power.

These elements, coupled with a moving, passionate and zealous message of the Lord delivered through Jesus Christ To God Be The Glory Church’s Founder and Head Pastor, Bishop Luis R. Santos, induced a heart-changing and life-transforming experience that overwhelmed every person present at the venue.  The whole event was concluded with baptizing forty-nine (49) yielding hearts, ready to take on a new life with Christ.

Konnichiwa Fukuyama! (Hello Fukuyama!)

by ido4 on Aug.29, 2011, under Blogs, News, Tours / Events

More than 2 decades ago, one of the Church Elders (now a Satellite Pastor in New York) dreamt of the worship team riding in a plane.  Years after, other brethren also had the same dream.  On August 11, 2011, that dream became a reality and I.D.O.4. was aboard Philippine Airlines’ Airbus Flight PR408…

At the onset of 2011, our Church Administrator and I.D.O.4. Worship Leader, Ms. Leslie Santos had a meeting with Bishop Luis Santos, the Elders and Satellite Pastors resulting to the decision of holding monthly concert tours commencing at Pampanga with Japan included in the list.  By March, before the first concert tour was held, a devastating tragedy struck Japan.  After the earthquake and tsunami, rumors of radiation spreading throughout Japan were sensationalized thus inducing more fear to people.  By this time, pursuing the concert there seemed fuzzy and was even temporarily removed from all promotional materials.

Months after, everything changed.  Negative rumors died down, the trip was reviewed and the Japan concert was good to go!  When I.D.O.4. began with the visa processing, we just submitted everything to the will of God.  Two (2) weeks after the applications were lodged at the Japanese embassy and when all eighteen (18) applications got approved, we instantly recognized that God’s purpose in Japan is ripe for the taking.  God is truly amazing!

On August 11, the dream was actualized step by step.  Our plane touched down Kansai International Airport and we knew right there and then that God’s hand moved…as we passed through immigration smoothly and rode our bus exactly on schedule.

Flight to Japan

As the praise and worship event drew nearer, many obstacles came but we just navigated our way over it.  We thought that there would be language barriers especially in the technical production group, but God eliminated it.

Rehearsal

The whole event ran smoothly and without difficulty, with an attendance of almost three hundred (300).  KONNICHIWA FUKUYAMA!  Thirty eight (38) souls were baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Glory to God!

Japan Concert Tour

On our way back home, we learned from our Satellite Church Pastor in Hiroshima, Ptra. Josefina Abrazaldo, that another Christian group planned to hold a similar concert but was denied of their visas.  They were fewer than us, but God has given our church a huge divine favor.

God gave the vision, God executed His plan and purpose…He is truly awesome and works in marvelous ways we cannot be able to comprehend…

To our brethren in Japan and to all who attended and supported the praise and worship night, Domo Arigatou Gozaimashita! ありがとうございました

Trust God and be blessed always!

31 Degrees and Escalating!

by ido4 on Aug.24, 2011, under Blogs, News, Tours / Events

July 31, with temperature reaching 31 degrees Celsius, the Galilee Mansion and Garden Resort was heaving with eight hundred thirty (830) hopeful participants as they experience another intense night of praise and worship.  The Lord moved miraculously and God’s presence was felt by everyone present at the venue…

I.D.O.4. headed for Bustos, Bulacan at 8:00 in the morning of July 31st and went straight to Pastor Somer Bigcas’ home for a visit.  He has contracted a serious illness yet he welcomed everyone with a very pleasant smile, ever trusting the Lord for His purpose.   We pleaded to the Lord and declared that healing be upon him; this prayer not only encouraged every soul present at that place, but established God’s promise of overflowing miracles that will happen during the concert.

Bustos Concert Tour

The place where the team stayed was astoundingly delightful and refreshing, coupled with an abundant supply of food and all other necessities that the team needed.  We felt the heart of the people who gave the best of their time, effort and resources just to express their love for their home church.

In turn, God has rewarded the Bustos satellite church with thirty two (32) souls who were baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But it doesn’t stop there because we also believe that there are more blessings coming for the Bigcas family.  Everyone who attended the concert was fully satisfied with God’s presence “up-to-the-brim”, and it overflowed when the team unexpectedly extended the encore with three (3) more songs.  In one of the cameras, an angel-like figure was captured confirming that His angels joined us during the praise and worship.

31 degrees Celsius, on the 31st of July…in a venue without airconditioning units… the scorching heat was easily overturned by God’s overwhelming presence that filled the hearts of the people…To God be all the glory!

I.D.O.4. Session Delights @ Baguio Satellite!

by ido4 on May.27, 2011, under Blogs, News, Tours / Events

Nope, the title of my blog does not necessarily refer to the ice cream shop called Session Delights located along Session Road in Baguio.  It’s just that there were so many delightful experiences we’ve had starting from Day 1 of I.D.O.4.’s stay in Baguiothat I can’t help but use “Session Delights”.  On second thought, “delightful” is not even an adjective that comes close to this experience…but I don’t need to change the title, right?  What I do need is Reinforcement;my blog alone would not do justice to describe the overwhelming sensation so I’ve captured some of the FB statuses in my network.  Stalker mode is on!

The promotion was so bongga.  Posters and streamers were everywhere.  I.D.O.4. even had media guesting via Love Radio 95.1 and ABS-CBN TV3 Baguio’s morning showNaimbag nga Morning Kapamilya”

Baguio Satellite brethren are the paragon when it comes to the display of support, excitement and eager anticipation of an impending Christian victory in propagating the Gospel…

I.D.O.4. Baguio Concert Tour is a sure hit that even outside the Philippines, one sister is caught longing to be in Baguio for this event:

The Hospitality (with a capital H) of Baguio Satellite is the awesomest!  The whole workforce — I.D.O.4.Worship Team, Technical Production Group and Admin staff were accommodated at Asian Traveler’s Inn and had the best“no lapse” meals catered by Gablets.  They even hosted the group’s summer outing at Baguio’s finest places like PMA grounds and Mines View Park…

The concert date was on May 20, 2011, a Friday afternoon.  Despite the heavy downpour, Baguio Convention Center was filled with approximately 2,400 attendees resulting from invitations of Baguio Satellite’s congregationhaving a population of about 390.  In my book, let me just state that this is the most exhilarating concert tour we’ve had so far.  The devotion conducted by Pastor RoddyVeneracion before the concert already signified victory.  The technical aspect was epic– from sound quality to L.E.D. and projector screen output up to the lighting effects.  For the record, as a person working in the Tech Prod group, it is hard for us to get lost in worship especially that we have to concentrate on our tasks throughout the duration of the concert.  Surprisingly, my tears flowed when the I.D.O.4. Santos siblings namely, Sis.Leslie, Bro. Ludwig and Sis. Weily began their simple remarks before each of their songs where their voices cracked as they hold their tears from being touched by the Holy Spirit.  I grabbed the chance to worship freely like the rest of the attendees that night.

Did I mention that Baguio Satellite’s Pastor RoddyVeneracion and Pastora Annabel Veneraciongot the best surprise of ‘em all?  Bishop Luis Santos, Pastora Norma Santos together with Bro. Wiglie Santos and the Elders made a 5-hour trip from Quezon City to Baguio for the sole purpose of attending the concert and then drove back to Quezon City the same night.  Cool, huh?

Then the ultimate result of the concert was revealed to us, the report: 134 newbies were baptized in Jesus’ name…

Maybe the reason why all I.D.O.4.concerts are successful is because we all know that God alone can make it work…that’s why we are accustomed to surrendering everything to him:

But do you know what’s unique about the Baguio Concert Tour?  Our Baguio satellite brethren aimed for their very own “KFC Double Down Sandwich” where everything about the concert from the songs to promotions and technicalities were taken merely as contents pinched in between two goals – Soul Winning and Soul Strengthening.
